summer routine//happy bday to baba, july 4th
summary of what i do nowadays for those who care, esp mama & baba. i miss you all.
monday: class at 11.30-1pm/work from 2-7pm/soccer from 7.30-9.30/online until i sleep
tuesday: class at 11.30-2.30pm/work from 3-7pm/soccer from 7.30-9.30/online until midnight
wednesday: class at 11.30-1pm/no work today; study for vector calculus or sleep from 1-5pm/go to gym from 5-7/library from 9-12midnight
thursday: class at 11.30-2.30pm, quiz day/work from 3-7pm/soccer from 7.30-9.30/online until i sleep
friday: work from 9-7pm/1 hr break from 12.30-1.30 for friday prayer, yg bestnya ada nasi briyani best dijual kat masjid for 5 dollars/7.30-9.30 soccer/sleeeeep
saturday: wake up at 9 usually/watch tv until noon/libraryfrom 1.30 unti 5 pm doing western literature homeworks/6-8 gym/8-midnight facebook or youtube or TV
sunday: wake up at 9/go to library 10-4 pm study for vector calculus/4-8 pm watch movies on TV, usually bnyk cerita baru on sundays/9-12 online and sleep.
so as u can figure out, i have a lot of things going on actually. and i manage to work 20 hours per week, earning decent amount of money. sometimes on sundays i go out eating with pako, a new friend from spain. Good thing is that he knows all the football players so we talk about the summer transfers a lot. and for now, facebook has become my best friend. i used to think that people who are so obsessed with facebook have really got nothing to do. but i suppose now i’ve become one. it’s not because i have got nothing to do, it is just that i m so bored and lonely!
to baba, i bought u the university of texas tie, for your birthday. happy birthday semoga panjang umur dan semoga bertambah matang.
and do not forget july 17 is approaching. i miss you all.
lonely summer
I figure that it’s about time to say something here. After the marine geology field course, my family came to visit for like 10 days. I am happy that they came to visit me even with the swine flu scare in the states right now. We went to a couple of places in Austin namely Blanton museum, Lady Bird wildflower center, Heycupcakes at south congress, Barton springs, the Capitol, sixth street, UT campus, and San Antonio and then flew to Buffalo, where from there we drove to Niagara Falls and then to NYC, where we spent couple of days together and finally everyone left for home from New York. I m now alone in Austin, taking 2 classes; vector calculus which seemed to be the hardest class ever and western literature, which seemed to be the most boring class ever (though everything is online). I miss everyone. I miss liyana a lot. I feel this is by far the loneliest time I’ve ever felt in my life.

30 days to go before my last final exam which will be on the 19th. On a positive side, there are 3 weeks of school left. On a somewhat negative side, I still need to work on a tsunami-wave propagation model on Matlab which is due two weeks from now, a 10-page geophysics paper on earthquake prediction, and the never ending exams. Pretty much time allotted for school and work, and sleep, and watch liverpool on saturdays… and read malaysia-today, malaysianinsider etc etc…..i know… it’s boring. but at least nlr is This summer, once school is over I will head to the gulf coast for a 10-day seismic data collection cruise for a geophysics field course; on a day after liyana leaves for Malaysia for the whole summer.. I m excited for the trip but sad for the fact that I will be alone later on the summer. But my عاءلتي is visiting for 2 weeks in June. Exciting… In the meantime.. myceritalah will take a break… again?
the reds
Liverpool continues to challenge manchester united for the english league title. The game against fulham just ended minutes ago: 1-0 to the reds thanks to benayoun’s superb late strike. I was hoping that they would banish fulham but it didn’t happen . Fulham managed to defend liverpool strikes and luck was on their side for several awesome strikes hit the cross bar. However we finally made it and the winning goal didn’t come until the 91th minute.
I had faith in those players during the game. And I am sure benitez did too. He looked positive eventhough at the 91th minute, it looked as if the goal was not going to happen. And I knew that I should keep watching and believe. I did. And then benayoun nailed it with two minutes before the end. So the reds goes to the top again, though the red devils has 2 games in hand. We’ll see the outcome of tomorrow’s game. I am sure my brother is having a sweet dream right now after watching the game.
I started supporting the reds since i was a kid. Robbie Fowler was the man, back in the days. Even the supporters nicknamed him the God. He changes his hairstyle every now and then and scores goals persistently. I still remember when my parents went to london back in 96, I requested a liverpool jersey with number 23 and fowler’s name at the back. I was standard three and it was the best gift ever. Back then, there was no astro in malaysia and we had limited access to epl matches. And so epl was not too popular as it is today and it was somewhat difficult to find an original jersey then. So to own one at that time was indeed special. I wore it with pride, on every special occasions.
Then came michael owen, and fowler started having injuries. Owen became everyone’s hero since his goal in the world cup against argentina. He became an instant english hero replacing beckham who was red carded during the controversial game that I say was one of the best game ever. And after owen departed for more money to real madrid, steven gerrard became the next scouser’s, and liverpool’s hero. He is just amazing. And now we are seeing that fernando torres is going to be next big thing at anfield, only to the fact that he is not a scouser and is spanish.
Well, thats just part of globalization of the game. And as the theory of plate tectonics say, tectonic plates on the earth moves around, and it would never be the same today and tomorrow, in the geologic time scale of course.

Olen takaisin
This is my another attempt to create a new epoch in the blog world. I wish this would last longer than the Cenozoic.
It just so happens that I could not sleep and am bored enough to spare time to create another account, but not on blogger anymore. I found wordpress to be more user friendly. I devote this to baba and mama as they are the ones who have been asking me to update them with stories and pictures. I somehow think that I have disconnected myself from others without myceritalah.
What happened was I deleted my google account, unaware that it was associated with blogger’s. Until today, I have been busy and lazy to do this. On top of the never-ending homeworks and exams, I now digitizes well logs for 10 bucks per hour to make ends meet.
And coincidently, today is my 19th months together with Liyana. We went to Katz’s, the same place where I first took her out someday 19 months ago. الحمد لله
